MUISM

Muyoung is a shaman (pansu), who lies about a lot of his abilities to make that money. He is not qualified to perform full rituals, but he will perform:

Readings/Fortune Telling 사주 + Tarot cards (fake)
- Simple paper burning form of fortune telling (real)

Personalized exorcisms of evil spirits/purification of personal residences (largely fake, occasionally real)

씻김굿 Purification rites for the dead to send them off to the afterlife (largely fake, occasionally real)

Gyeonggi-do Dodanggut Rite to ward off evil spirits from a select area, done the second month of the lunar calendar (fake)

He also sells:

Love charms (fake)

Vitality potions (fake)

Wards against evil spirits (real)

A variety of rotating magical items (usually real)

His real power comes in visions of death that occasionally plague his dreams. Any person he sees in these dreams is someone that Muyoung has at least briefly had contact with at some point, though often they are strangers that he bumped into in the subway, or made eye contact with on the streets. Any dream of death he has will come to pass within the year.

These visions are involuntary, and he will not take money for death prophecies, nor does he advertise this particular ability.

Muyoung, however, isn't sure he does.
